Privacy Policy

01 Data We Collect

TabLX stores the following data exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local), sandboxed to the extension and never leaving your device unless described below:

02 What We Don't Collect

TabLX has no backend server of its own. No data is ever transmitted to us.
  • We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
  • We do not track your browsing history beyond what you explicitly save as a session
  • We do not use analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting tools
  • We do not use cookies
  • We do not share, sell, or transfer data to any third parties beyond the two services listed in Section 1

03 How Data Is Used

Every piece of data TabLX stores has a single, specific purpose and is never used for anything else:

04 Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device and persists until one of the following occurs:

  • You manually delete a session within the extension
  • You click "Remove License" in the extension settings
  • You uninstall the extension — the browser automatically clears all local storage

We have no access to your locally stored data and cannot retrieve, modify, or delete it on your behalf.

The two external services TabLX contacts are governed by their own privacy policies:

06 Children's Privacy

TabLX is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the extension, please contact us so we can address it.

07 Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of TabLX after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
